Assistant Manager - Trade Related Remittances

You should ideally
- 10 years of experience handling outward remittances, primarily related to open account transactions, advance payments, and freight payments
- possess knowledge of import/export control regulations related to international trade, as well as CBSL regulations
- have a solid understanding of debits and credits related to BFCA and BLA
- be experienced in handling queries from correspondent banks
- be capable of responding to and advising clients and branches effectively
You will be responsible for
- scrutinizing payments related to advance payments, open accounts, and freight payments
- the final release of MT 103 transactions, including those related to open accounts, advance payments, and freight payments
- responding to inquiries from correspondent banks
- ensuring that all transactions comply with local and international regulations
- advising branches and business units where necessary and responding to both internal and external customer queries
- leading the remittance unit and ensuring the achievement of business objectives
- leveraging knowledge of any other trade products, which will be considered an added advantage
