Plant Engineer (Assistant Manager)
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct PM (planned maintenance) activities by scheduling, updating PM check sheets, and developing maintenance procedures.
- Carrying out troubleshooting of the machinery by guiding the engineering team to improve MITTR & MTBF.
- Follow up on company safety protocol with the safety manager and address all department safety concerns.
- Overhaul and upgrade machinery to restore its basic condition.
- Order machinery spare parts following PM check sheets and machine spare parts manual.
- Coordinate OEM for expert assistance and faster arrangement of spare parts.
- Plan and oversee CAPEXs and new machinery requirements.
- Coordinate with service providers to arrange machinery parts to resolve potential problems.
- Ensure the team follows all company policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting.
Candidate Profile:
- BSc, NDT, HNDE, or equivalent qualifications in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
- Minimum 05 years+ of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Sound knowledge in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Pneumatic engineering concepts related to industrial machinery.
- Sound technical knowledge in CNC operation machinery, especially brush industry machinery, is preferred.
- Familiarity with the SAP user interface will be added as an advantage.
- Ensuring safety procedures and standards of the organization.
- Preference will be given who are from Ekala, Gampaha, or the surrounding proximity.
