Export Manager – Solid Tyres
Location: Union Place / Kaluthara Factory

Overview of the role
The Export Manager – Tyres will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding the solid tyre business in international markets. This role involves leading the export sales team, managing customer relationships, and executing international marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and achieve revenue targets.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead, train, and motivate the export sales team to drive results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key international customers and distributors.
- Execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to increase engagement and sales in international markets.
- Monitor competitor performance, analyze data, and provide forecasting.
- Prepare sales reports and market analysis for management.
- Ensure proper territory management and market coverage by the export sales team.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Execute promotional campaigns, trade shows, and BTL marketing activities in international markets.
- Optimize digital advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) for international audiences.
- Report on competitor pricing, offers, and market strategies for proactive planning.
What equips you for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent qualification.
- Professional qualification in Marketing from a reputed institution (PGD / HND / Diploma).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in an export sales management position.
- Proven track record in international tyre sales.
- Experience in managing distributors, large sales teams, and achieving sales targets.
- Extensive knowledge of the tyre industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in Sinhala & English is essential. Fluency in Tamil is a plus.
- Knowledge in job-related IT literacy (MS Excel / PowerPoint).
