Nutritionist - Animal Feed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert feed formulation services tailored for livestock and poultry.
- Conduct islandwide farm visits for technical support, product monitoring, and farmer engagement.
- Assist the sales team to achieve product sales targets by offering technical expertise.
- Customize nutrition programs based on species, production stages, and customer needs.
- Organize and lead farmer meetings, dealer trainings, and technical seminars.
- Troubleshoot nutritional and farm management challenges and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams for product promotions and new launches.
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback for continuous product improvement.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or Agriculture (Animal Production specialization preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years experience in feed formulation, technical consultancy, or animal nutrition support.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Practical exposure to poultry, dairy, and livestock sectors is a strong advantage.
- Based in Colombo, ability and willingness to travel extensively across the country.
