Chief Transformation and AI Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the strategic roadmap for transformation across the bank.
  • Champion a transformation culture that embraces innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent document processing, machine learning, and generative AI solutions.
  • Design and drive large scale transformations, implementation of AI-driven automation strategies across business units.
  • Drive cross-functional change programs that reimagine processes, reduce complexity, and improve time-to-market.
  • Leverage analytics and data science to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess, redesign, and optimize core operational processes.
  • Influence and guide senior leaders to adopt automation and AI technologies responsibly and effectively.
  • Embed Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive measurable efficiency gains.
  • Establish performance metrics to track impact and sustainability of re-engineered processes.
  • Foster data democratization, literacy, and governance across the Bank.
  • Work closely with C-level executives, technology partners, and regulators to align initiatives with the Bank’s vision.
  • Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant AI architecture and data governance frameworks.
  • Ensure that all automation and transformation efforts comply with banking regulations, industry standards and internal policies.

The Person

  • Over 15 years of experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles with a strong foundation in transformation and business re-engineering.
  • A Master’s or a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or a related field or equivalent MBA is preferred.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level transformation and AI-driven initiatives within a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make strategic decisions based on accurate and timely insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including remote teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams in transformation and AI domains.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and commitment to excellence in driving innovation and business impact.
