Junior Executive – IT (Monaragala)

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving faults.
  • Set up and configure new hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.).
  • Assist with the maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, and backup systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Support software installations, upgrades, and patches.
  • Maintain IT documentation including inventory, user guides, and support logs.
  • Assist with user training and onboarding for IT systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty and service issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications.
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Active Directory, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
