ROLE PROFILE
- Ensure that the financial statements are prepared in conformity with all applicable Accounting Standards and the requirements set by other relevant statutory bodies.
- Liaise with tax consultants, timely submission of tax returns and settlements of tax liabilities while ensuring complete compliance to the prevailing tax laws.
- Establish internal control systems over all financial transactions to ensure that all company assets, finances, and other resources are monitored, safeguarded and effectively utilized.
- Facilitate commercially oriented decisions through the provision of timely and accurate information for decision making. Ensure all reporting requirements are met with timeliness and accuracy.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to coordinate the audits and other review activities.
- Contribute in the integration of innovative ideas and best practices into the Finance department, consistently embracing a culture of continuous improvement to enhance service, quality, and efficiency.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Full or part qualification in CA / ACCA.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Management.
- A minimum of 5 years’ working experience of which 2 years are in a similar capacity.
- Working experience in an audit firm will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in Export / Manufacturing sector and ERP System (SAP) is a distinct advantage.
- Possess strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to understand, adapt, initiate, implement processes and operate in a changing environment.
- A team player with high levels of energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
