Accountant Cum Quantity Surveyor position

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant Cum Quantity Surveyor with the ability to prepare BOQ's to join our team in Nawala, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing quantity surveying tasks, and assisting with project cost management.
Location: No. 76, Temple Road, Nawala
Industry: Furniture / Interior Design
Key Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Perform quantity surveying tasks, including taking off quantities, estimating costs, and preparing tenders.
- Assist with project cost management, including monitoring project costs, identifying cost variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting and/or Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience in accounting and/or quantity surveying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and results-oriented attitude.
