TECHNICIAN
Location – Pelmadulla
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repair of factory machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all mechanical/electrical systems operate at optimum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with factory standards.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
Individual Profile
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or garment manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of industrial machines, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems (if applicable).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Willingness to work in shifts and under pressure.
