CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER – COSMETIC AND CHEMIST

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with specialized experience in the cosmetics and chemist channels, particularly in setting up and managing general trade (GT) and cosmetics distribution networks. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a tailored route-to-market strategy, establishing an effective distribution model, and leading brand and shopper marketing initiatives specific to these channels. A deep understanding of the cosmetics category, customer behavior within chemist and beauty retail environments, and sub-channel dynamics is essential. The role involves analyzing market trends, deploying the right resources, building field capabilities, and developing efficient coverage and execution plans.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in channel marketing, trade marketing, or brand management, ideally within the cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG sector
  • Hands-on experience in setting up and optimizing general trade (GT) and cosmetics distribution networks
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Willingness to travel as required to support business needs
