Front Office Manager

The Role

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front office operations, managing a team of receptionists, and ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and guest services. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, committed to delivering outstanding service and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence
  • Ensure a warm, professional, and efficient welcome for all guests.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front office staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop work schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
Operational Management
  • Oversee daily front office operations, including check-in, check-out, and reservations.
  • Monitor room availability, occupancy rates, and ensure accurate room assignments.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for smooth operations.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
  • Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly front office reports.
  • Monitor revenue streams and contribute to upselling strategies.
Crisis Management
  • Act as the main point of contact during emergencies, ensuring guest and staff safety.
  • Handle unexpected issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of front office experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in a resort environment is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication in English; proficiency in Russian and/or other languages is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Property Management/Booking Systems.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure with attention to detail.
