As we expand our footprint in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for passionate and goal-driven individuals to join our dynamic Business Development/Sales and Marketing team.
Position: Business Development Officer / Sales and Marketing Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the rooftop solar sector.
- Engage with residential, commercial, and industrial clients to promote Solar Joint's solutions.
- Conduct site visits, evaluate customer energy needs, and coordinate with the engineering team.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term growth.
- Prepare proposals, assist in securing financing options, and follow up through to project closure.
- Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in solar or technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel and meet clients regularly.
- Fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil; English proficiency is an advantage.
