Job Description

Job Profile:

  • Exposure to handle SME Credit in a branch and achieve the set targets in Advances, NPA, IIS
  • Evaluate loan applications and preparation of proposals with detailed information and necessary attachments to approving authority, swiftly and efficiently
  • Ensure that loan disbursements are made only on completion of security documentation, disbursed in stages and ensure that interest rates are charged as per tariff
  • Issuance of guarantees, holding applicable margin, renewals, cancellations, reversals and follow up on expired guarantees, balancing, submitting monthly statements and proper maintenance of correspondence
  • Carry out site visits and ensure proper post credit follow ups and react for early warning signals
  • Responsible for the Watch list / NPA management including calling and visiting overdue clients
  • Carry out periodic physical verification of pawned articles
  • Ensure low audit rating on credit operations

Candidate Profile:

  • Age below 35 years
  • Full or Part qualification in Banking (IBSL)
  • Diploma in Credit Management will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 4-5 years working experience preferably in a Bank and 2-3 years exposure in a credit role
  • Good knowledge of Credit procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of industry/market conditions /volatility and new trends
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
