Senior Technical Writer
Our US-based client in the healthcare industry is on the lookout for a talented Senior Technical Writer to join their team in Sri Lanka. In this role, you will be responsible for converting API specifications into clear, user-friendly technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experience in technical writing.
- Proven experience in technical writing, particularly for APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication methods (OAuth2, API keys, etc.), and overall API architecture.
- Ability to read and interpret code (e.g., JSON, JavaScript, Python, .Net).
- Experience working with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/Open API, Postman, Stoplight).
- Familiarity with Markdown, Git, and documentation platforms such as Notion, Confluence, etc.
- Experience in writing AI prompts for ChatGPT, Claude to use the support of GenAI for day-to-day documentation tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong English writing skills in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Priority will be given to candidates who can join immediately or within one month.
- Fluent in spoken and written English to directly work with the onsite team in the U.S.
