INTERNSHIPS – (2 positions)

Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters and exclusion from healthcare in more than 70 countries. MSF offers assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
Intern – Programme Unit – 1 position
Roles and Responsibilities
- Sending generic communication to applicants on their course related queries.
- Support in organizing lecture feedbacks and collate the feedback response.
- Support the team in coordinating visa and logistical support for the students during the Lab training.
- Support the team during the new course session for onboarding and joining formalities of students.
- Data entry.
- Gap fill for Site Administrator in managing the administrative arrangements of lecture webinar – If required.
- Support in administrative activities e.g.- collating information and centralization of reports and documents.
Intern – Logistics / Facilities dept – 1 position
The following are the objectives of this internship:
- Data management of stock related to office and guest house.
- Policy adaptation work of the department in collaboration with the team.
- Support in setting up of basic logistic processes in office.
- Any other work as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed an undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with and passion for humanitarian work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, collaborative, strong organizational skills.

Work Timing:
- Monday - Friday
BENEFITS
- Internship Allowance:
- The MSF South Asia intern will get an allowance for the number of days worked (LKR 1,892/- per day).
- The intern will be covered for accident insurance.
