ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER

Nuwara Eliya District

The Job:

  • Coordinate with the Regional Office and Head Office and ensure smooth operations in the Branch in the absence of the Branch Manager and carry out tasks assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Ensure smooth conduct of Cash management including foreign currency, ATM operations, balancing, and insurance requirements
  • Closely monitor customer service provided by the operations staff and intervene where necessary and sort out issues in a professional manner
  • Ensure that KYC, AML, and FIU requirements are complied with and CBSL reporting is carried out where necessary
  • Coordinate branch campaigns to canvass new business

The Person:

  • Full/ part qualification in Banking at IBSL
  • Minimum 08 - 10 years of experience in commercial banking out of which 03 - 04 years of experience in branch operational functions
  • In-depth knowledge of policies/procedures, related operational processes/ foreign exchange transactions, compliance, and internal controls
  • Good in marketing, sales orientation, and business acumen
  • Sound communication skills and a flair for public relations
