Job Title: SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR – VIDEO EDITOR (Freelance)
Location: Remote / Work from Home / Part Time
The Opportunity
We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Content Creator with strong video editing abilities to join our team on a freelance basis. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and digital content creation, we would love to hear from you. This is a part time freelance opportunity and we expect to post maximum one content a week. Work from home with flexible time.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit photos and video footage taken from construction sites and design activities into polished, professional content.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s branding, tone, and visual identity.
- Work independently to deliver one high-quality piece of content per week.
- Add subtitles, graphics, transitions, music, and other effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
- Stay updated on social media trends, especially in video formats and creative techniques.
- Identify trending topics in engineering, construction, or architecture for timely and relevant content creation.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in creating and editing social media content with appropriate editing software.
- Strong skills in creating motion graphics, reels, and short-form video content.
- Ability to work with raw footage (photos and videos) and transform it into compelling narratives.
- Develop engaging short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to meet weekly deadlines independently.
- Basic knowledge or interest in construction, architecture, or design sectors is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of Tamil and Sinhala is an added advantage.
