FLIGHT QUOTES in the UK, trading as Call Centres International is looking to recruit candidates experienced in airline ticketing, to sell and process flight tickets for the Africa Travel Centre in the UK. This ATOL bonded company established in the UK in 1989 specializes in outbound flights to multiple Africa and USA destinations. This role requires excellent communication skills in ENGLISH as you will be working virtually with English speaking colleagues in our London (UK), Chicago (USA), Freetown (Sierra Leone) and Cape Town (South Africa) offices. You will be working within an established International Company with a London HQ that is a household name for travel to Africa.
THE VACANCY
- All positions are on a home working basis with the UK company.
- The service contract will be with a UK company based in England.
- Monthly fee, well above local Sri Lanka levels, will be paid in USD or GBP
- UK working days; Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday off
- UK working hours: 10.30 to 7pm UK time which corresponds to 3pm – 11.30 am Sri Lanka local time.
- All candidates must work ALL Saturdays in the month
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND FLUENCY IN ENGLISH
- Fluency in written and spoken English and verbal communication skills on the phone is a must.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in Flight Reservations.
- Qualifications from a reputed institute in AMADEUS / SABRE systems
- General IT knowledge is a must.
SELF EMPLOYMENT SERVICE CONTRACT PACKAGE
- Monthly fee paid in foreign currency (i.e. USD or GBP) well above local levels
- Generous Bonuses or Commissions based on sales profit level targets to high-end achievers.
- UK Holidays only; 7 days Public Holidays plus 21 working days leave (as accumulated).
EQUIPMENT AND INTERNET SERVICES
The company will provide necessary equipment to setup a workstation at your home including laptop and internet connections with power banks in case of power failure. You will be given initial and intensive training in Sri Lanka.
As previous experience in flight reservations is required, applications from candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.
