PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Primary School Teacher who is committed to inspiring young minds and making learning fun!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement an engaging and holistic curriculum for academic courses and primary school standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support each child’s learning journey.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and foster a strong school community.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the school’s mission and vision.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant degree with a specialization in primary education.
- National Diploma in Teaching (Primary Education) or a recognized Teacher Training Certificate/Diploma.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
- Communication skills in English, Sinhala, or Tamil.
- A high level of creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
