Job Summary
The Relationship Manager - SME will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises. This role involves understanding client needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the business with a high-quality portfolio of SME clients while achieving business targets, acquiring and onboarding of new clients.
- Understand the client’s business, financials and prepare quality appraisals in collaboration with Credit & Risk Management teams.
- Facilitate disbursements while coordinating with internal stakeholders and undertake post-disbursement documentation.
- Understand & cross-sell various retail, payment solutions & liability products to capture entire ecosystem of SME clients.
- Monitor client accounts and financial performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
The Person
- Minimum of 8 years’ overall exposure in Relationship Management preferably in the Banking/Financial industry out of which at least 5 years in the role of a Senior Relationship Officer/Assistant Relationship Manager.
- Thorough understanding of financial statements and working on financial ratios.
- Expertise knowledge on financial products.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with outgoing personality.
- Higher level of computer literacy.
- Possess Diploma in Banking/Credit Management or other equivalent professional qualification from a reputed university/professional body would be an added advantage.
