Job Description
EXECUTIVE – INFORMATION SECURITY & IT GOVERNANCE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive – Information Security & IT Governance to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about driving security, compliance, and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System.
- Support IT risk assessments, policy and Procedure development, and compliance tracking.
- Coordinate and maintain detailed meeting minutes related to IT.
- Review IT controls and follow up on action items.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure best practices in information security and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of information security awareness sessions and training programs for internal staff.
Pre-Requisites:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution is essential.
- Hands-on experience in one or more areas of IT Governance, Information Security, IT Compliance, or IT Audit.
- Foundational knowledge of international standards and frameworks, especially ISO/IEC 27001.
- Ongoing studies toward CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer will be considered a valuable plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent documentation skills.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
