Software Developer / Tester
Vantage is a technology consulting firm specializing in financial services solutions, working with global enterprises across Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean. We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer to join our Colombo office. This role involves developing and maintaining web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of code quality through effective testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using ASP.Net MVC.
- Build rich, interactive front-end components using jQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# and T-SQL.
- Use version control tools like Git or TFS to manage codebases effectively.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure using WebApps.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance and security of web applications.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Strong experience with ASP.Net MVC and jQuery in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of C# and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience designing and managing database structures with T-SQL.
- Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and related tools.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS.
- Working knowledge of Azure WebApps and cloud deployment practices.
- Familiarity with the Entity Framework and modern development workflows.
- Bonus: Experience with Selenium or other UI testing frameworks is a plus but not required.
