Finance Officer
Samson Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the DSI Samson Group is a foremost manufacturer of Moulded Rubber & Plastic Products for Domestic & International Markets. Our factories are based in Galle, Dompe and Dalugama.
We are looking for experienced, energetic self-motivated individuals who meet the following requirements to join with us. There is a vacancy for the above position for immediate engagement depending on the competencies of the suitable candidates who look for a career with us.
Responsibilities
- All kind of work related to payments of taxes & submission of tax returns such as Income Tax, SVAT, VAT, SSCL, APIT, WHT etc
- Monitoring intercompany local debtors
- Work related to renewal of VAT deferment facility
- Visit to IRD & Custom if any queries
- Maintaining GL accounts by verifying and posting account transactions
Requirements
- Successfully completed AAT Accounting Qualifications or Part Qualification of CIMA/CA/ACCA
- Minimum of 03 years work experience in Commercial or Manufacturing Organization in the field of Accounts
- Specialized in Accounts Payable and Taxation, Minimum of one year
- Past experience in ERP systems and working with IFS would be an added advantage
- Age below 30 years
