Job Description
JUNIOR EXECUTIVE - IT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first-level (L1) technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly
- Assist in the setup and configuration of computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or in person and escalate issues when necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on workstations and other IT assets to ensure optimal performance
- Install software updates, patches, and antivirus programs
- Monitor system performance and report any anomalies
- Assist in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN)
- Support the configuration and maintenance of network devices under supervision
- Maintain an updated inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Document IT support activities and create user guides for common tasks
- Prepare regular reports on IT support tickets and system performance
- Work closely with senior IT team members to implement IT projects and initiatives
- Assist in the onboarding process by setting up accounts and devices for new employees
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma (NVQ 4) or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in an IT support or related role
- Preferred Certifications (Optional): Computer A+ or similar entry-level certification
Candidate should be willing to join on contract basis.
