Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting
Responsibilities
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintaining historical records.
- Assisting in month-end closures and Audits.
- Paying vendors by scheduling paychecks and online payments.
- Responding to vendor inquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analyses of accounts, inventories, and fixed assets and producing monthly reports.
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year accounting experience with a proven track record in Accounts payable.
- Finance or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka or CIMA or ACCA is preferred.
- Understanding of accounting concepts and principles and reporting to tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
