ASSISTANT - PRODUCTION PLANNING AND INVENTORY CONTROL

Our Finance Team is looking for a dynamic, driven, determined & charismatic individual to join us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing and updating daily, weekly, and monthly production/inventory plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
  • Monitor the progress of production schedules and coordinate with the Production team to ensure timely completion of production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods inventory.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials and packaging based on production needs.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics Divisions to manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Assist in analyzing production efficiency and recommend improvements for better utilization of resources.
  • Ensure data accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of production and inventory records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the PPIC Executive or Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • GCE A/Ls or higher qualification
  • A Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Operations Management
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing field
  • Knowledge in inventory handling procedures
  • Good communication & coordination skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management & the ability to work under pressure
