CONTRACT-BASED LITIGATION SPECIALIST (PART TIME)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis (Part Time). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consumer litigation and be capable of traveling to various courts as required. This role offers performance-based incentives tied to successful settlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in legal cases across various courts.
- Coordinate and collaborate with our legal partners to ensure effective case management.
- File cases at the mediation board and other relevant legal forums.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare necessary documentation for litigation.
- Provide expert advice on litigation matters to internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate settlements and manage dispute resolution processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on case progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
The Person
- Proven experience in consumer and company litigation.
- Ability to travel to different court locations as needed.
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Excellent legal research and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Retired legal, credit or recovery professionals are encouraged to apply.
