The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Total Productive Maintenance, Lean and manufacturing operations, with the ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, enhance equipment effectiveness, and drive a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with industry standards and group organizational goals.
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER - TPM
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and execution of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies, Lean & Six sigma initiatives across all operational areas.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and optimize asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
- Drive group-level cost-saving initiatives through effective maintenance planning and process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align TPM efforts with production and business goals.
- Conduct TPM, Lean, Six Sigma training and develop team capabilities to build a culture of operational excellence.
- Support group –level long-term business strategy through equipment efficiency, risk mitigation, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Production, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 4–5 years in a TPM or lean management leadership role. Experience in six sigma practices will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies, including implementation of the 8 TPM pillars.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, reduce downtime, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
