Accounts Executive
Papparich Sri Lanka
We are an international food & beverage franchise based in Colombo and we are in the process of expanding our business.
Qualifications:
- Part qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA / AAT or a relevant degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in F&B or retail).
- Proficiency in accounting software (ODOO ERP systems).
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with Sri Lankan tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, NBT, PAYE, SSCL etc.).
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Maintain general ledger and support month-end/year-end close processes.
- Work closely with management for cost control and financial insights.
