POST OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER
Fingara Club, a premier leisure and recreation club in Boralesgamuwa, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations within the club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all food and beverage activities, including menu planning, food preparation, beverage service, and inventory control.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability within the F&B department.
- Manage and train F&B staff, ensuring they adhere to service standards and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of food and beverages.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all F&B areas.
- Manage budgets and control costs within the department.
- Plan and execute special food and beverage events.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager, preferably in a club, hotel, or similar establishment (minimum of 4 years of progressive responsibility in the F&B industry is often desired).
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, F&B Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong Knowledge of F&B operations, including menu development, cost control, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken).
Requirements:
- Age below 45 years
- City hotel experience can be an advantage.
- Candidates should be well-groomed, confident, and possess a positive attitude.
