OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our client, a newly established multinational company in Sri Lanka, is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all core business functions, including finance, operations, customer service, logistics, and human resources.
- Establish and manage a sourcing office to ensure efficient procurement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team while fostering a positive work environment and delivering excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers, partners, clients, and stakeholders to drive business success.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to guide strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage business license applications in line with the company’s strategic goals.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and operational improvements through special projects and continuous innovation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the Trims, Textile, or Garment industry.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with proven experience in business discussions.
- Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Navision) and general PC applications.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Comfortable working with a diverse international team and clientele.
