EHS OFFICER
With a track record of 40+ years, LTL Holdings Limited is a leading diversified power sector conglomerate, with operations in Power Generation, Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Service of Power Plants, and Manufacturing of Distribution Equipment such as transformers, switchgears, and fabrication / galvanizing of steel structures. In line with emerging themes of energy transition across its key target markets, LTL intends to focus on increasing investments in cleaner energy (Gas/Renewables).
The group consists of 12 companies in Sri Lanka and has overseas operations in Bangladesh, Singapore, India and Nepal and its products are exported to more than 25 countries.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, including ISO 45001:2018
- Conducting hazard identification, risk assessment and implementing controls
- Maintaining safety documentation including walkdown reports, fire system inspection records, emergency response plans, near-miss reports and accident registers
- Managing emergency drills and response plan
- Conducting factory walk-downs to identify potential safety hazards
- Recording safety meeting minutes and preparing monthly health and safety status reports
- Handling ad hoc safety-related activities
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant or a Technical field
- Possessing NIOSH and NIBOSH certifications will be considered as an added advantage
- More than 3 years prior experience in an industrial environment
- Thorough understanding on safety regulations and Safety Management System
- Ability to implement Health & Safety policies, procedures in line with local regulations
- A good team player with sound interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
- High level of IT savviness
