Manager Transport - Seeduwa
We are currently in search of a dynamic, resilient and proactive individual to assume the Position of Manager – Transport at our Seeduwa Production Plant. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of:
- Automobile Engineering, fleet management principles, exceptional supervisory skills and successful collaboration with diverse teams to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements
- Oversee the daily operation of the automobile workshop, ensuring maintenance and repair standards are met.
- Manage and monitor the vehicle fleet to ensure optimal operational readiness.
- Develop and implement effective strategic plans for the company’s transport operation that supports to achieve overall business goals.
- Ensure transportation services align with organizational requirements and performance standards.
- Provide strategic guidance to improve internal processes and workflows.
- Promote cost effective transportation solutions and operational efficiency.
- Supervise a team of skilled and unskilled staff to optimize performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Automobile Engineering / Transport Management from a recognized university or institute.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostic and repair.
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience including at least 04 years in a managerial role in an organization with extensive hands on experience in managing automobile workshops & transport / fleet management.
- Proficiency in IT literacy.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity to Seeduwa who are below the age of 45 years.
