Transco Cargo(Pvt) Ltd is the Sri Lankan counterpart of the premier freight forwarding and turnkey logistic provider, Transco Cargo Australia (Pty) Ltd, with headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.
We are currently looking to recruit highly motivated and result-oriented candidates for the following positions.
Operation Assistant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the coordination of cargo movements and shipments.
- Handle documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and transporters to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in tracking and reporting shipment progress.
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Data entry on company ERP system.
- Possessing a diploma in logistics stream will be considered as an additional qualification.
- School leavers are mostly welcome.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
