TRAINEE COOK
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Cook to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cooking and eager to build a career in the food and hospitality industry, with a special focus on Sri Lankan cuisine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of senior chefs
- Support the preparation of traditional and contemporary Sri Lankan dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Help with ingredient preparation, storage, and stock rotation
- Follow kitchen safety procedures and company guidelines
- Learn and develop culinary skills through hands-on training
REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for cooking and a keen interest in Sri Lankan cuisine
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good team player with a positive attitude
