TRAINEE WAITER
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Waiter to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cooking and eager to build a career in the food and hospitality industry, with a special focus on Sri Lankan cuisine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present and explain the menu to guests, offering recommendations as needed.
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Perform Cashier duties and any other tasks as assigned, based on business requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a waiter.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and staff.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Good team player.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Close proximity to Nugegoda is an added advantage.
