Executive – Quality Assurance
Corporate Office - Wattala
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Job Role
- Assist in initiating and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in Quality Assurance.
- Define and ensure adherence to consistent quality assurance standards and QMS methods.
- Familiarize with buyer/customer quality standards and demonstrate knowledge of QA practices in garment manufacturing, specifically in woven garment production.
- Support QA reviews and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure required quality standards are met.
- Implement necessary steps to maintain and improve quality standards across production and related areas.
Individual Profile
- Degree/Diploma related to production/manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, particularly in a woven garment manufacturing environment.
- Age below 45 years.
- Hands-on experience with premium brands, particularly Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, is highly preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with lean manufacturing exposure and proficiency in problem-solving tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
