Overview of the role
The Senior Executive – Insurance is responsible for managing and coordinating all insurance-related operations within the organization, particularly those linked to the leasing and finance portfolios. This includes arranging insurance for leased assets, managing renewals and claims, liaising with insurance providers, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
What you will do
- Coordinate the issuance of insurance policies for new lease and finance customers.
- Ensure all required insurance documentation is completed, signed, and properly filed.
- Validate insurance coverage terms align with company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor insurance policy expiration dates and initiate timely renewal processes.
- Facilitate the end-to-end processing of insurance claims, including documentation, follow-ups, and communication with insurers.
- Ensure insurance practices comply with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and industry regulations.
What equips you for the role
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance with a Professional qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the insurance field.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in MS office package.
