LINEN ROOM SUPERVISOR / LINEN ROOM ATTENDANT

AHANGAMA, GALLE.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Linen Room Supervisor / Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management, distribution, and upkeep of linen inventory to ensure high standards of hygiene and availability across the facility.

Requirements:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the linen room, including receiving, sorting, storing, and issuing linen and uniforms.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of clean and soiled linen.
  • Coordinate with laundry service providers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup.
  • Implement and monitor linen control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant working environment.
  • Report any maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle frequent standing, lifting, and carrying.
