FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT
At Lost & Found, our spaces are created to give you a comfortable place to stay, eat & hang out as you experience the best of Sri Lanka with locations around the island.
We are seeking a young, dynamic individual to lead the front office operations of the hostel and assist with the restaurant activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests, handle check-in/out, and record guest details accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries, provide local information, and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage bookings, update reservations, and coordinate room availability.
- Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms and maintain standards.
- Assist with restaurant operations, including seating, reservations, and service.
- Submit daily occupancy, revenue, and feedback reports.
- Handle calls, emails, and support administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in similar capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel) and basic accounting or inventory software.
- Should be well competent on all forms of communication in English.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work on weekends and long hours.
