Technician – (Mechanical/Electrical)
We are a leading manufacturer of surgical consumable products in Sri Lanka, with an island-wide distribution network. We are currently expanding our manufacturing sector and are looking to hire experienced individuals for three Mechanical Repair/Fitter positions.
Knowledge of electrical systems or PLCs will be considered an advantage.
You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of machinery to ensure uninterrupted production. As a self-sufficient technical professional, you will support department supervisors in achieving production targets and contribute to the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
Duties
- Ability to troubleshoot, service, overhaul, breakdown, repairs, etc.
- Mechanical & electrical experience and ability to read and understand technical manuals.
- Weaving machine, carding machine & boiler experience will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 or similar field experience in mechanical, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electronic components and experience with wiring and connecting sensors and controllers.
Salary
- Monthly salary of 75k or above (including 100 hours of minimum overtime), depending on level of experience.
