CHEMIST
Idea industries limited is one of the largest PVC products manufacturing company in the country. We are looking for an experienced and energetic person for the position of Chemist of the group.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Should have minimum 02-03 year experience in the field of Chemist in PVC products industry or metal industry.
- Must have thorough knowledge and experiences in ISO and other international standards.
- Should have excellent communication and IT skills.
- Age below 35 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring & analyzing the chemical process in the Metal Factory and PVC factory.
- Conduct physical and chemical testing according to the raw material and finished product specification.
- Monitoring the Waste water treatment plant according to guidelines.
- Handling all activities & documents related legal requirements for both PVC and Metal factories.
- Responsible for new product development and innovations.
- Monitoring and coordination with related staff to adhere to the system certifications including ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001.
- Analysis possible reasons for product defect and Quality lapses in production process.
- Understand, support and follow management expectations in alignment with company value.
Work location is Negombo and the selected candidate should be able to travel daily to work.
