Job posting for Chef de Partie
- 5 years’ work experience in a casual dining restaurant or Star class hotel
- Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role for minimum 2 years
- A certification from an accredited University/Hotel School in culinary arts
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Controlling of food cost
- Previous work experience in Sri Lankan cuisine (Kotthu) or Chinese restaurant will be an advantage
- Ability to communicate in English.
Job description
- Chef de Partie role at a Sri Lankan themed street-food concept restaurant in Europe
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking station
- Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available
- Follow the guidance of the executive sous chef
- Optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Help to maintain a smooth and friendly working environment.
