Program Coordinator
FACULTY OF COMPUTING
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/it with a first or second class (upper division)
- Honours from a recognized university
- Minimum of 3 years working experience at a university or higher educational Institute
- Experience in academic program coordination
- Excellent command of the English language
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To teach selected modules in HND in Computing and Systems Development and BSc(hons) Computer Networks/ BSc(hons) Business Information Systems degrees
- Attend to program coordination activities such as preparing time tables
- Maintaining students’ records
- Students’ registration and liaising with foreign academic partners
- Ability to work on weekends
- Ability to extend attention to detail compounded by forward planning
- Positive work attitude inclusive of timely & efficient completion of work assigned
- Proven interpersonal skills, inclusive of excellent written & verbal communication
- Experience in scheduling meetings & event coordination
- Document & record maintenance efficiency
