Manager – Dealer Management

Overview of the role

The Manager – Dealer Management will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the performance, development, and compliance of the dealer network to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. This role focuses on enhancing dealer relationships, improving sales and service performance, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards across all dealer outlets. The position plays a key role in acting as a bridge between the company and its dealers, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Scope of the role

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with dealers to ensure smooth communication, business alignment, and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor dealer performance metrics including sales targets, service quality, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Support the implementation of dealer development programs including training, process improvements, and capacity building.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, aftersales, marketing, and finance to support dealer needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct periodic dealer visits, performance reviews, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of dealer incentive programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for dealer expansion, territory management, and network optimization.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to provide insights on dealer performance and recommend improvement actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in dealer management, sales operations, or channel development, within the automotive industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of dealer network dynamics, sales and service KPIs, and operational best practices.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven performance analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to engage with dealer locations and regional teams.
