Principal – Gampaha Branch
Royal Institute International School (RI), a pioneer international school in Sri Lanka, has a long history of more than 50 years of providing exceptional education to its students. As a responsible provider of primary and secondary education, the school prides itself on delivering a value-driven education assisting students in pursuing excellence. With a network of five branches across Havelock Town, Nugegoda, Maya Avenue, Maharagama, and Gampaha, RI has had a high academic performance since its inception.
Currently, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead our Gampaha Branch.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership to the school, developing and implementing educational strategies to achieve academic excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.
School Administration:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including facilities, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant education laws, policies, and regulations.
Student Development:
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
- Monitor and support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Faculty and Staff Management:
- Train and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community.
Student and School Performance:
- Monitor and report on the school's academic performance and other relevant metrics.
- Implement improvement plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably as a principal.
- Minimum of 05 years of teaching experience at various educational levels.
- Strong understanding of educational methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, faculty, and staff.
