TRAINEE / ASSISTANT – MERCHANDISER (PANNIPITIYA)
FOR OUR CLIENT!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and follow with designs, sampling, production, vendors, etc.
- Prepare the plans and production schedules for the manufacturing department
- Follow up in all stages of production in the factory from sample making to shipment
- Keep close contact with the central store to know the actual In-house status of all relevant production materials and accessories, and inform the same to factory Management well ahead
- Explore production specifications and maintain the factory capacity data
- Prepare a plan and schedule workflow for each department
- Internal & external communication
- Responsible for inspections of the Fabric
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Merchandising / Textiles or similar will be preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in fabric merchandising or a similar industry
- Working knowledge of production and sampling in fabric materials
- Knowledge of various types of embroideries, value additions, printing, job work, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of fabrics
- Eager to learn, smart, and decisive
- Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and personality
- Team player and well-versed with Microsoft Office
