Vendor Key Representative
The Job
Your main responsibility is to deal with customers directly and ensure style handover to the production plant to be a perfect hand over. Also, you may need to work closely with the development teams to ensure that the style is being developed in feasible methods.
You will closely work with Technicians & Pattern Makers to establish, improve quality and technical standards for the development & production of new styles within the manufacturing facilities. You will be also required to offer product re-engineering on styles to offer the best price to the customer.
You are required to communicate with relevant internal departments to deliver a comprehensive service, to factories and the end customer. You need conduct pre-production meetings to ensure production standards are maintained. You will also be responsible to provide completed technical packs to the manufacturing facilities and assist in improving the production process. In addition, you are required to manage and maintain a critical path for sample approvals, fair knowledge printing, embellishment and embroidery.
The Person
You will possess a sound technical knowledge with a textile degree / diploma from a recognized institution. A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar capacity with a sound understanding of sewing & pattern making, grading and pattern alternations would be required. Skill of marker making and Geber system is mandatory. Experience in casual & night wear product category (fleece robes, trousers, dresses, skirts, night ware, pajamas, nightdresses & washed garment will be an added advantage. Problem solving, innovative thinking and execution excellence are essential competencies. Must have the ability to read, interpret customer requirements and specifications with good spoken and written English communication. Work under pressure while prioritizing and managing tasks efficiently is required.
