Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and financial transactions
- Handle purchasing and procurement of office supplies and materials
- Manage filing systems and ensure proper documentation of records
- Process banking transactions, deposits, and reconciliations
- Assist with general administrative and financial tasks as needed
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Ensure timely bank payments
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, purchasing, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Experience with general ledger functions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred but not required)
- Experience: 5-8 years of accounting experience in a corporate setting. Previously worked in Audit firm, construction sector or service-based company is preferred.
- Professional Certifications: Fully or partly qualified CA, AAI, ACCA, CIMA (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

- Familiarity with tax laws and financial regulations in the Maldives is a plus.
