The Nexo Global is a UAE-based management consultancy and compliance firm offering financial, tax, and advisory services. We are expanding to Sri Lanka with a new office in Colombo and are seeking skilled professionals to join our team for our operations in UAE.
AUDITOR/SENIOR AUDITOR
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing statutory and internal audits
- Perform risk assessments and substantive testing
- Review financial records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Prepare audit working papers in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Support client communication and draft management letters
- Coordinate with accounting and tax teams to reconcile audit findings
- Stay updated on IFRS, UAE corporate tax, and other relevant regulations
- Requirements:
- Semi-qualified CA / ACCA / Sri Lanka Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 2-4 years of audit experience in a reputed firm (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
- Working knowledge of ISA and IFRS
- Familiarity with UAE audit procedures is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit tools (e.g., CaseWare, Zoho Books)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skills
- Good written and verbal communication in English
Payscale: LKR 100,000 up to LKR 200,000 per month.
